Local Leaders of Education

The goal of the Local Leaders of Education (LLEs) is to increase the leadership capacity of other schools to help raise standards. 

They are experienced Headteachers of Ofsted rated Good schools and have proven coaching and mentoring skills in assisting senior leaders and headteachers of other schools.

LLE's applications guide

LLE Pilot Project

The overall aim of the project is to strengthen the governance and infrastructure for LLE recruitment, designation, training and deployment in Kent and Medway. The decision was made to focus the project on the North Area due to the fact that this area had the fewest current LLEs.
